Dutch Boys Chocolate Launches Make-A-Wish Fundraiser with Chocolate ‘Wishbones’ Cor Boon and Henry Noestheden. Owners of Dutch Boys Chocolate located in Kingsville Ontario, Launched a year-long fund-raising event for Make -A-Wish Canada.
Kingsville Mayor Nelson Santos officiated at the Ribbon-Cutting ceremony and later, took time to ‘break’ a chocolate wishbone with a Make-A-Wish wish-kid Will, who represented critically ill children across Canada in support of this fund-raising event. The ‘wishbone’ has been a popular confection especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas when everyone can enjoy getting a wish from breaking a wishbone. Made of Belgian Dark chocolate with 54.5% cocoa, the wishbone is a popular item with everyone.
The Dutch Boys Chocolate Fund-Raising project is to run for 12 months during which the small chocolate company projects selling 100,000 wishbones throughout Canada. Dutch Boys Chocolate will donate $1.00 from the sale of every wishbone which sell for $5.00 each plus tax.
Dutch Boys Chocolate invite purchasing the ‘wishbone’ online through their website. They also invite local regional dealers to purchase a quantity that they can resell in their business in support of Make-A-Wish Canada and provide critically ill wish-kids with an opportunity to realize their wish.
